Michigan Speedway Rules
To ensure the safety of all patrons and guests, Michigan International Speedway has created the following code of conduct and policy guidelines. Please review and follow the rules and policies below as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund.

Accessibility Policy
Michigan International Speedway provides the following accessibility services to guests.
- Wheelchair seating is available in the following sections. Three companion tickets may be purchased along with each wheelchair ticket.
- Center Sections 20-56 (even) Row54
- Center Sections 13-29 (odd) and 12-18 (even)Row 1
- Accessible parking has been designated for easy access to the facility. Please display the proper credentials on your vehicle with plates or placards before entering the parking lot. Accessible parking fills early and guests may be directed to overflow or alternate areas.
- Free transportation assistance is available for guests with disabilities using Guest Trams and Disability Transport Carts. Guest Tram Service is available in the following Lots.
- Lot 10
- Lot 14
- Accessible Restrooms are available at the entrance of the building and are labeled with a wheelchair plaque
- Service animals are welcome at the venue. Please call 512-592-6666 at least two weeks before your ticketed event so proper arrangements can be made.
- Guests with service animals are recommended to purchase wheelchair seating to accommodate the service animal safely.
Arrival Policy
Before entering the venue, guests may have to pass through a security checkpoint. Please allow extra time to get through this checkpoint process so you don’t miss any of the racing action.
Bag Policy
Large bags are not allowed in the venue. All bags (camera bags, purses, backpacks, etc) are subject to search upon entering Michigan International Speedway.
Please have your bag ready for search before entering entrance doors to accelerate the process.
Camera Policy
Generally speaking, cameras are allowed as long as they are hand-held and will not disrupt other guests. Drones and remote-controlled cameras are not allowed.
Camping Policy
The venue has camping sections for interested guests. Please call the facility at 512-592-6666 for more information.
CoolerBag Policy
Fans may enter Center Grandstand and Acceleration Club areas with:
- Soft-sided coolers no larger than 10”x 10” x 12”.
- Soft-sided coolers may contain ice, freezer packs, and a removable plastic liner.
- Soft-sided bags no larger than 18” x 18” x 4”.
- Soft-sided bags may include scanner bags, camera bags, purses, fanny packs, daypacks, canvas tote bags, lightweight backpacks, eco-friendly type grocery bags, clear bags, bags with souvenir purchases.
NOTE: Guests are allowed to bring in any combination of no more than two total of the items described above. Coolers and bags may contain food and beverages. Please drink responsibly.
Cancellation Policy
If a race or event is canceled due to inclement weather, then ticket holders can exchange the tickets for a future NASCAR race at any ISC property. Tickets may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value on a ticket-by-ticket basis.

Food and Beverage Policy
Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the venue unless contained in an appropriately sized cooler or bag. Please drink responsibly. Food and beverages are not allowed in the concert footprint.
Lost and Found
If you lost an item at the venue, please check in with security for help with finding Michigan International Speedway’s lost and found department. After the show, please call 512-592-6666to to inquire about your missing item. Please provide full contact information and detailed information about your lost property.
Michigan International Speedway does not claim responsibility for lost or missing items.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed past the gates
- Alcoholic beverages (unless inside an appropriately sized cooler or bag)
- Backpacks or any bag larger than 18″ x 18″ x 4″
- Balloons and beach balls
- Coolers larger than 10”x 10” x 12”
- Drones or any type of radio-controlled flying device
- Fireworks
- Folding chairs
- Glass or can containers
- Grills
- Golf carts hoverboards, quads, UTVs, SxS, scooters, skateboards, Segways, dirt bikes or any other similar personal transportation devices (including licensed vehicles that may be street legal)
- Illegal drugs
- Noisemakers or horns
- Pets (except for service animals)
- Scaffolds
- Stadium seats wider than 18 inches or with arms
- Umbrellas
- Weapons of any kind
- Any items which pose a safety hazard or can diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests.

Re-Entry Policy
There is no re-entry policy for Michigan International Speedway. All exits are final.
Saturday Post-Race Gate Admission Policy
Fans may enter the concert footprint with:
- A backpack, purse or soft-sided bag no larger than 18” x 18” x 4”.
- Lawn chairs, strollers, and small umbrellas.
- As a convenience for guests arriving from the grandstands, empty coolers are permitted.
All items brought through the Admission Gates are subject to inspection.
Fans may NOT enter the concert footprint with:
- Outside food and beverages.
- Bicycles, pets (except service animals), banners, signs, flags and laser pointers.
- Firearms, knives, fireworks, contraband, illegal substances and items restricted by local, state or federal laws.
- Professional grade cameras, recording devices and video equipment.
- And all other items deemed inappropriate by festival security.
- Coolers with contents.
Smoking Policy
Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is not permitted within the venue. Please ask the event staff if there is a designated smoking section for your ticketed show or event.
